Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
On arrival, you will be greeted by our representative at the hotel and later transferred to the hotel. Our representative will brief you about the tour program and other check-in formalities. Stroll through the streets of Kathmandu and explore the rich heritage. Rest of the day is at leisure and overnight stay is at the hotel.
Day 2: Explore the Kathmandu City
Start your day with an orientation tour of Kathmandu after breakfast at the hotel. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, featuring temples, courtyards, monuments, and ancient palaces. Explore attractions like the Taleju Temple, Kumari Ghar, Hanuman Dhoka, and Royal Palace. Enjoy a pedal rickshaw ride and a walking tour of Thamel, discovering Buddhist stupas and Hindu shrines amidst bustling bazaars. Visit Boudhanath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Nepal's largest stupas. End the day dining on Nepali cuisine at the historic Bhojan Girah.
Day 3: Visit the famous temples in Kathmandu
After breakfast, visit the ancient Pashupatinath Temple, a significant Hindu site and cremation center, and a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Patan Durbar Square, 5 km southeast of Kathmandu, known for its royal palaces, artistic courtyards, and pagoda temples. In the afternoon, enjoy a hands-on sustainable pottery-making session, immersing yourself in Nepalese culture. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Start your day with a 200 km morning drive or take a thirty-minute flight (optional experience) to Pokhara after breakfast at the hotel. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel to take some time off and get ready for the next adventure. End your evening with a walking tour through the lakeside market of Pokhara. To make your evening special, live through the religious culture of the city! You can also take a thirty-minute flight to Pokhara from Kathmandu airport and savour the most mesmerizing views of glorious Manaslu and the snow-capped Annapurna mountain range.
Day 5: Visit the famous Lakeside valley
Start your day with an early morning hike, enjoying packed breakfast and stunning views of Annapurna and other mountain ranges. Alternatively, have breakfast at your hotel and tour Pokhara, visiting Bindyabasini Temple and Davis Falls. Spend the afternoon at your leisure. In the evening, enjoy boating on Phewa Lake, admiring the snowy mountain scenery and dining at a lakeside restaurant.
Day 6: Pokhara to Nagarkot
After breakfast at the hotel, take a 25-minute flight back to Kathmandu and upon arrival in Kathmandu drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a quaint farming village that acts as a window to the giants of the Himalayas. Known as one of the most scenic spots in the valley, Nagarkot offers a panoramic view of the Himalayas such as the mighty Annapurna Range, Manaslu Range, Ganesh Himal Range, Langtang range, Mount Everest, Numbur range, and several excellent hiking trails.
Day 7: Excursion to Bhaktapur
After breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the day is available at leisure. You will spend your day at the hotel to relax and rejuvenate. You also have an option to go on an excursion to Bhaktapur (meaning 'City of Devotees'). The city has narrow walkways dotted with centres of art and craft. You can find Newari art and architecture here that showcases the best craftsmanship of the Malla period. Bhaktapur also houses three crucial squares full of towering temples that comprise some of the finest sacred architecture in the entire country.
Day 8: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head to the town of Dhulikhel. It is one of the best spots in Nepal to admire the grandeur of these rugged mountain peaks. Unlike Nagarkot, Dhulikhel is an authentic Nepalese town to explore its real culture and heritage. The village square is lined with temples and scenic beauty of majestic peaks that makes you wish to stay there forever. Visit two lovely temples with distinct Vishnu and Hari Siddhi styles, and a Kali temple set on a hilltop above the town. The remaining day is available for leisure.
Day 9: Board your flight for departure
After breakfast at the hotel, the morning is at leisure. Later, you will be dropped at the Lhasa airport for boarding your return flight. The standard check-out time at the hotel is between 1200 hrs.
