Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrival in New Delhi
On arrival at Delhi's IGI airport, our representative will escort you to your hotel, and help you with all the necessary check-in formalities. The representative will make sure you are briefed with the details of the upcoming tour program. Delhi is a mix of many cultures amalgamated into one. It is a result of several empires building and tearing down this great city several times. Delhi's unique charm lies in the eclectic mix of old palaces and modern glass buildings complementing and contrasting each other's beauty, which in simple words mean that the old and the new ideas work in a synchronized manner.
Day 2 : Full day sightseeing Delhi
Post a sumptuous breakfast, drive past the Red Fort to reach Old Delhi. The first thing you’ll notice is Marvel. Due to its unique architecture, 20,000 people can pray at a time. The highlight of this day would be a rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Old Delhi. Exit the narrow lanes to reach a more posh area of the city, Lutyens Delhi, which is primarily a residential area for the ministers, and even comprises iconic monuments. As you reach India Gate, pay your respects to those 80000 Indian soldiers who died fighting in World War 1, for a better world! The structure was unveiled in 1931, it has a structural similarity to that of the Arc de Triumphed in Paris. Move on to Rashtrapati Bhawan, home to the President of India. This estate has 340 rooms across four floors. There is an optional visit to the Salaam Baalak trust. As you move on to your hotel, make sure you check out the parliamentary buildings governing this country. Later drive towards Bishangarh. Check-in at your hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi to Jaipur
As you arrive in Jaipur, check in to the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure. Fringed by the rugged Aravali Hills, Jaipur is the capital and largest city in India’s northern state of Rajasthan. This city is famed for being India’s first planned city featuring a multitude of pink terracotta buildings within the walled historic centre, earning it the nickname,’The Pink City’. Jaipur falls within the Golden Triangle, a popular tourist circuit, which includes Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, and serves as a gateway to the neighbouring desert cities of Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. This colourful city is a combination of tradition and modernity and offers visitors vibrant bazaars, lavish palaces and ancient temples. The salmon-hued old city is home to the opulent City Palace, encompassing an impressive assortment of palatial structures, sprawling gardens, courtyards and buildings. Don’t miss the fairy-tale splendour of the Amber Fort, set against the backdrop of the arid landscape.
Day 4 : Full day sightseeing Jaipur
After breakfast, visit the City Palace Museum, with an exquisite collection of Rajasthani costumes, Mughal and Rajput Armory including swords. The Royal artefacts would explain what things a royal needed to lead their lives. Do take some time out for a photo session at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied wonder, as you further explore the city. Also, an option of visiting the mighty Amer Fort, situated on and surrounded by the rugged Aravallis is on the cards too.
Day 5 : Jaipur to Alsisar
Check out of your hotel in Jaipur after a hearty breakfast and drive towards the pretty little town of Alsisar. Check in at the hotel. Witness the Rajput architecture that this city is famous for, and along with fresco carvings adds charm to the primary attraction, Alsisar Mahal. Be treated like a royal for a day, as you get to experience Rajput hospitality. Explore the local market.
Day 6 : Alsisar to Bikaner
Post breakfast, check out from your hotel in Alsisar and enjoy the drive towards Bikaner. If you don't taste the spicy snack Bikaner is famous for, then don’t visit it. The Bikaneri Bhujia, is a popular snack. The simple preparation of this snack is made from gram flour and spices, and 2.5 million people are employed to make this snack, so you can imagine how popular this snack really is.
Day 7 : Full day Sightseeing Bikaner
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and visit the mighty Junagarh Fort. The 16th century fort’s outer walls are built of light sandstone and are surrounded by moats. Check out the fort's equally beautiful interiors. Check in at the hotel and shop at the local market. Also, don't forget to catch a glimpse of the Badal Mahal located within the fort, where the walls are covered with stories of Hindu God Krishna. Later, drive towards Jaisalmer, located amid the vast expanse of the Thar desert. For this day, you also have an optional activity which includes a visit to a camel breeding farm.
Day 8 : Bikaner to Jaisalmer
Check in at the hotel After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Jaisalmer. It is situated amid the vast expanse of the Thar Desert. Jaisalmer is home to the world's only inhabited medieval fort. Jaisalmer, a 12th-century city served as a bustling trading post along the famous Silk Road and still to this day features markets selling silk, cashmere, silver jewellery, bronze statues and much more. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Explore the local market. Overnight in Jaisalmer.
Day 9 : Full day sightseeing Jaisalmer
After breakfast, the city tour of Jaisalmer begins with Jaisalmer Fort. The Fort has a golden colour because of its stone. The Fort houses elaborately carved 12th to 16th century Jain temples. Within the fort witness the interesting architecture of Nathmalji-ki-Haveli with its peacock shaped carved brackets. Walk past Patwon-ki-Haveli, the most magnificent haveli, known for its latticed façade and Salim Singh ki Haveli. Here too, you have an option to enjoy a sunset at Sam Dunes while enjoying a camel ride with a surrealistic landscape of beautifully scaped sand dunes.
Day 10 : Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
After breakfast, drive towards Jodhpur, the city founded by the Rathore clan. On arrival our representative will help you check in at the hotel. It is a city of rich merchants, the Marwaris. As you explore the local bazaar, you'll get to know how literally rich each shop owner is. Jodhpur, the 2nd largest city in India's Rajasthan state. Rao Jodha, the chief of the Rathore clan, is credited for founding this great city in 1459. The city is named after him. Jodhpur was once the largest state in Rajputana in terms of land area during British rule in India. It was a prosperous state, and after independence in 1947, the state joined the union of India and became part of Rajasthan. On arrival check in at hotel. Explore the local bazar. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 : Full day sightseeing Jodhpur
After breakfast, a visit to Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone is sure to make your day. The palace apartments like Sukh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal etc are decorated to enthral you. Your dreams become reality as you get to witness the enormous collection of untold riches comprising an exquisite collection of jewellery, costumes, armory, palanquins, howdahs and other royal artefacts that one can’t even imagine. The Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II built in 1899 will be a sight to behold. This size of the statue indicates how grandeur and lavish the Rajputs really were in the days of their glory. Also, make it a point to explore the local bazar for some quintessential shopping. Moreover, on your last leg you also get to have an option for an excursion to Bishnoi village by 4X4 car. The Bishnois are a community who are considered the true protectors of nature and animals.
Day 12 :Jodhpur to Gurgaon
Check out of the hotel and drive towards Jodhpur airport to board a flight to Delhi. Rest for the day. But if you want to explore you get the option of visiting Qutub Minar. You have the option of visiting Qutub Minar. The tower stands 72.5m high with a diameter at the base 14.4m and 2.7 m at the top. The tower has 379 steps to the top.
