Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Land in the city and check-in to the hotel.

Arrival

On arrival at Delhi's IGI airport, our welcome representative will escort you to the hotel, and help you with your check-in formalities. The representative will make sure you are briefed with the details of the tour program. Rest of the day is at leisure. Delhi can be aptly called fusion city, as modernity blends smoothly with the old world customs contrasting each other's uniqueness.

Day 2 Capital City Tour

India Gate, New Delhi

After a sumptuous breakfast, visit Old Delhi. Drive past the Red Fort bordering the walled city to reach the narrow bylanes of Old Delhi. This part of the city still lives by the wisdom of the ancient world. As you wade through the narrow lanes of the walled city you arrive at the massive Jama Masjid mosque. The first thing you'll notice is the architecture because of which 20,000 people comfortably pray at a time. But the highlight of the day would be a rickshaw ride through the narrow streets and an optional visit to the Salaam Balaak trust, a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) who rescues street children. They feed and educate them for a better life. After you reach India Gate, pay homage to the 80000 fallen Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives in World War 1. Move on to Rashtrapati Bhawan, home to the President of India. You'll be surprised to know that this mega estate has a whopping 340 rooms spread across four floors.

Day 3 Agra Entry

Agra Fort, Agra

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Agra. Arrive at the erstwhile Mughal era city in style as you check in to the hotel. Agra, the erstwhile capital of the Mughal empire. The city boasts of the highest levels of Islamic architecture in India. The mix of Indian and central Asian architectural styles fused into one is one such unique feature. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, getting prepped up for the next day. Or head next to take an optional visit to the Agra Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 Explore Agra and head to Jaipur

Taj Mahal

The day begins with an early morning visit to the Taj Mahal (remains closed on Fridays), to see the building in all its glory. This UNESCO site is often called the “the jewel of Muslim art in India”. The monument built by Shah Jahan is beautiful beyond words. As dawn breaks the light and colours transform gives the Taj an additional glow. Next optional spot is Fatehpur Sikri. It used to be a bustling capital during the Mughal era, but like many great cities faded away in the pages of history. Another optional visit spot is Abhaneri Stepwells, which is famous for 'Baoris'. It would be interesting for you to know that India was way ahead when it came to harvesting rainwater since ancient times because it was a traditional practice. Plan your trip accordingly, as your trip moves to Jaipur, as soon as you check out. Arrive in Jaipur, check in to the hotel and get some rest. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 Pink City Tour

Hawa Mahal

After breakfast, visit the City Palace Museum, with an in-house exquisite collection of Rajasthani costumes, Mughal and Rajput armoury including swords of different shapes and sizes. The Royal artefacts are like a history lesson as it would explain the things a royal needed to lead his/ her daily life. Head for a quintessential photo session at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied wonder, as you further get to know the city. Last but not least is the optional visit to the 17th century Amer Fort located atop the Aravallis. You'll be surprised to know that even in ancient times religious tolerance was a normal thing because the Fort's construction was undertaken by Maharaja Mansingh, Mughal Emperor Akbar’s most successful General, who was a Hindu. Day 6 Delwara Trip

Lake Pichola, Udaipur

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and get ready for an exciting tour which starts from Udaipur. As you arrive at the City of Lakes, our representative will help you transfer to the hotel. Rest for the day, as you gear up for the next day's activities. Dubbed the ‘Venice of the East’, is built around three interconnected lakes – Lake Pichhola, Fateh Sagar Lake and the smaller Swaroop Sagar Lake – and encircled by the rugged Aravallis. It is home to ancient temples and fairy-tale palaces. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7 Udaipur Tours

Udaipur City Palace, Udaipur

After having breakfast like a king, proceed for the city tour of Udaipur. As the tour begins the beautiful City palace greets with its royal presence. City Palace is situated above Lake Pichola. This Palace has housed many royals for more than 4 centuries. Because of which the palace was modified as per every rulers' whims and fancies. The palace is one of a kind in Rajasthan. Being constructed entirely out of marble and granite which makes it a highly luxurious and a royal property in every sense of the word. Also, try to visit Jagdish Temple, a 16th-century temple and an optional visit to Sahelion-ki-Bari, the Garden of the Maids-of-Honor with fairytale-like fountains inside four pools. Another optional activity includes a sharing boat ride at Lake Pichola, sailing past picturesque Ghats and palaces, stopping at the island of Jag Mandir, a 17th-century water palace.” Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8 Welcome to one of the oldest holy cities in India

Ganga Aarti at a Ghat in Varanasi

As you arrive in the holy city of Varanasi via Mumbai, our representative will transfer you to one of the luxury hotels. Later in the evening witness Hindu prayer ceremony or ‘Aarti’ on the banks of Ganges River. Witness the half an hour-long Aarti from a rented boat which you board from Dhaswashmedh Ghat. The river banks or ‘ghats’ and temples light up with oil-lamp and candles which in turn creates a surreal effect. After which, the devotees float the oil lamps in the water as an offering to Mother Ganges. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 Last day in Varanasi

Boat Ride in Ganges, Varanasi

Plan an early morning boat trip on the River Ganges if you want to watch the Hindu devotees paying obeisance to the Sun God while bathing in the holy river under the sacred belief of washing away their sins. You'll also get to see why Hindus get to cremate their dead. Next up you visit one of the famous temples in the city, Bharat Mata Temple after a hearty breakfast buffet at the hotel. The temple houses a marble idol of Bharat Mata (Mother India) along with a marble relief map of India. Also, if you want to make it more interesting, opt for the optional excursion tour to Sarnath, a place where Lord Buddha preached his first sermon. A spiritual place of mainly stupas, shrines and temples which holds valuable ancient scriptures & artefacts related to Buddhism and Gautama Buddha's teaching. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10 Back to the Capital

Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi

Morning is free at leisure. Check out of the hotel in Varanasi followed by an airport transfer to Varanasi airport. Arrive in Delhi and check-in, the rest of the day is free to explore on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11 Time to bid farewell

Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Delhi airport. Board the international flight for the return journey.
