Day 1 : Arrival in Paro - Transfer to Thimphu

Arrival in Paro and transfer to Thimphu

Upon arrival at Paro Airport and drive to Thimphu. Enjoy a scenic drive to Bhutan’s capital, passing beautiful landscapes. En route visit Tachog Lhakhang: Stop at this 15th-century temple built by the legendary bridge-builder Thangtong Gyalpo. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure at the hotel.

Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing and Activities

Buddha Dordenma

After breafast, sightseeing in Thimpu. Visit Buddha Dordenma: Start the day with a visit to the giant overlooking the valley. Memorial Chorten: Explore this sacred stupa, a focal point for Bhutanese spiritual life. Tashichho Dzong: Visit the impressive fortress-monastery that houses government offices and the king's throne room. Folk Heritage Museum: Discover traditional Bhutanese through exhibits. Dinner: Enjoy a Bhutanese meal at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Drive to Punakha - Sightseeing and Activities

Dochula pass

This morning pick up from the hotel and drive to Punakha. En-route stop by Dochula pass (3150m) which houses 108 Druk Wangyel Chorten or stupas. On a clear day, one can experience spectacular views of the eastern Himalayan mountain ranges. Upon arrival in Punakha, check into your hotel and later sightseeing.  lunch, visit Punakha Dzong beautifully situated at the juncture of the Pho and Mo Chhu rivers. : Enjoy local Bhutanese cuisine. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Punakha Sightseeing and Activities

Chimi Lhakhang

After breakfast, you will pick up for the sightseeing to Punakha and visit Chimi Lhakhang famously known as the temple of fertility. Visit traditional suspension bridge lying adjacent to the Dzong.  Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten: to this beautiful stupa for stunning views of the valley. Dinner: Experience traditional Bhutanese cuisine.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 : Drive to Trongsa - Sightseeing and Activities

Trongsa Dzong

This morning you will drive to Trongsa, Travel through scenic landscapes. En route visit Trongsa Dzong: Explore this grand fortress, which once controlled central Bhutan. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy a local meal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : Drive to Jakar - Sightseeing and Activities

Bumthang Valley

This morning you will drive to Jakar: Continue your journey to Bumthang Valley. Jakar Dzong the fortress known as the “Castle of the White Bird.” Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy a local meal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : Jakar Sightseeing and Activities

Jakar

This morning, visit Jambay Lhakhang an ancient temple. Kurjey Lhakhang: Explore this sacred site where Guru Rinpoche meditated. Tamshing Lhakhang: Visit the temple founded by Terton Pema Lingpa. Bumthang Valley Exploration: Enjoy the scenic beauty and local culture. Dinner: Experience local delicacies.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 : Drive to Gangtey - Sightseeing and Activities

Phobjikha Valley

This morning you will drive to Gangtey: Travel through scenic landscapes to the Phobjikha Valley. En route Stop at Trongsa Dzong: Visit this grand fortress if not done on Day 5. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner: Enjoy a traditional Bhutanese meal.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 : Gangtey Sightseeing and Activities

Gangtey Monastery

Today you will do the Gangtey Nature Trail: Enjoy a scenic hike through the valley, known for black-necked cranes in winter. Also visit Gangtey Monastery: Visit this important monastery. Black-Necked Crane Center: Learn about efforts to protect the endangered black-necked crane. Dinner: Enjoy a meal featuring local Bhutanese cuisine. Overnight at the hotel

Day 10 : Drive to Paro - Sightseeing and Activities

Paro Monastery

This morning you will drive to Paro. Visit Paro Dzong: Explore Rinpung Dzong, a stunning fortress-monastery. Explore Paro Town: Walk through the charming streets and visit local shops.  Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner: Enjoy a final Bhutanese meal.  Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 : Paro Sightseeing and Activities

Tiger’s Nest Monastery

This morning you will do a hike to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang). This iconic monastery is perched on a cliff. The hike takes approximately 4-5 hours round-trip. You will visit Kyichu Lhakhang: Visit one of Bhutan's oldest temples. Farmhouse Visit: Experience traditional Bhutanese hospitality. Dinner: Enjoy your final dinner in Bhutan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 : Departure from Paro

Departure from Paro

Transfer to Paro Airport: After breakfast, you will be transferred to Paro International Airport for your departure. Reflect on your unforgettable journey through Bhutan as you head home.
