Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 Welcome to New Delhi

India Gate, New Delhi

On arrival at Delhi's IGI airport, our representative will escort you to the hotel, and help you check-in. The representative will brief you with the details of the tour program. Delhi is home to welcomes everyone from different walks of life.

Day 2 Enjoy the several sights and sounds of Delhi

Jama Masjid, New Delhi

After a sumptuous breakfast, visit Old Delhi. As you drive the majestic Red Fort bordering the walled city, feel the warmth of the old world welcome you. Marvel at the architecture of Jama Masjid, where 20,000 people can pray at a time while blending in the front. Next, a rickshaw ride through the narrow streets adorned with colourful shops. Here you have an option to see how Salaam Balak trust rescue street children and educating them for a better life. Drive towards Lutyen’s Delhi.  After you reach India Gate, get to know how 80000 fallen Indian soldiers sacrificed their lives in World War 1, in the quest for a better world. Move on to Rashtrapati Bhawan, with 340 rooms, the home to the President of India. Later, drive towards Agra.

Day 3 Delhi to Agra

Agra Fort

After you reach Agra, check-in at the hotel. Rest for the day, if you don’t feel you like resting you have the option of visiting Agra Fort, where Shah Jahan, the one who commissioned its construction was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb. If you don’t want to rest then you have the option  of visiting Sheroes Café, run by women who survived chemical attacks. Know how they overcame everything to run this café.

Day 4 Agra Tour

Taj Mahal, Agra

An early morning visit to the Taj Mahal (remains closed on Fridays) is a must if you want to see the building in all its glory. This UNESCO site is often called the “the jewel of Muslim art in India”. The monument was built by Shah Jahan is beautiful, because as the dawn breaks the light and colours transforms gives the Taj an additional glow. You have the option of visiting Agra Fort on your last day in Agra. Get to know how Shah Jahan, the one who commissioned its construction ended up in a prison inside it.

Day 5 Agra to Jaipur

Fatehpur Sikri, Agra

After breakfast check out of your hotel in Agra get ready to visit Pink City. Upon arrival check in to your hotel and get some rest. But, before leaving the city you have the option of visiting Fatehpur Sikri, a building built using Indian and central Asian styles of architecture. Also, you can visit Abhaneri stepwells which is famous for 'Baoris'. It would be interesting for you to know that since ancient times India took conserving rainwater very seriously.

Day 6 Experience Pink City like never before

Jai Mahal Palace, Jaipur

After breakfast, visit the City Palace Museum, with an in-house exquisite collection of Rajasthani costumes, Mughal and Rajput armoury including swords. The Royal artefacts are like a history lesson as it tells about what a royal family member needed to lead his/ her daily life. Do take some time out for a photo session at the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five-storied wonder, as you further get to know the city. Optional: Visit 17th century Amer Fort located atop the Aravallis. The uphill approach to the Fort is a thrilling experience. You'll be surprised to know that even in ancient times religious tolerance was a normal thing because the Fort's construction was undertaken by Maharaja Mansingh, Mughal Emperor Akbar’s most successful General, who was a Hindu.

Day 7 Jaipur to Jodhpur

Jaswant Thada, Jodhpur

After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Jodhpur and check-in at your hotel in the city. You can also do some quintessential shopping if you feel like it.

Day 8 The Jodhpur tour starts

Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur

After breakfast, visit  Mehrangarh Fort, situated on a low sandstone hill will catch your attention immediately. Inside the Fort, palace apartments like Sukh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal etc are decorated to enthral your five senses. Your dreams come true as you get to witness the enormous collection of untold riches comprising of an exquisite collection of jewellery, costumes, armoury, palanquins, howdahs and other royal artefacts that one hasn’t even dreamt off. Drive towards Udaipur, city of Lakes. Optional: Witnessing The Jaswant Thada, an imposing marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II built in 1899 will be a sight to behold. This size of the statue indicates the level of lavishness the Rajputs indulged in. Explore the local bazaar.

Day 9 Jodhpur to Udaipur

Sahelion-ki-bari, Udaipur

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel in Udaipur. The city is often called ‘Venice of the East’ as it’s built around three interconnected lakes. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 10 City of Lakes tour

Lake Pichola, Udaipur

The tour begins at the beautiful City Palace, situated above Lake Pichola. This Palace housed many royals over 4 centuries. Because of which the palace was modified over and over again. Being constructed entirely out of marble and granite makes it a highly luxurious property in every sense of the word. Also, try to visit Jagdish Temple, a 16th-century temple. Option: Visit Sahelion-ki-Bari the Garden of the Maids-of-Honour with fairytale-like fountains inside its four pools or you can hitch a boat ride in Pichola lake.

Day 11 Welcome to Mumbai

Worli Sea Link Road, Mumbai

Welcome to Mumbai, home to India’s largest film industry, Bollywood, and a financial powerhouse. It is a place where fashion is all about setting a trend. And is also the pulse point of religious tension. You’ll be enthralled to know that it has its own version of the Hindi language, Bambaiyya Hindi. The heart of the city contains some mind-blowing colonial-era architecture on the planet, unique bazaars, hidden temples, and some of India’s best restaurants. Check-in at your hotel upon arrival.

Day 12 Mumbai City Tour

Taj Hotel & Gateway of India, Mumbai

Post breakfast, enjoy visit of Prince of Wales Museum built in grand Indo-Saracenic style, and as you move on towards Gateway of India, the principal landmark of Mumbai, you also get to witness the beautiful Marine Drive

Day 13 End of the Itinerary

Departure

After breakfast, check out from hotel and transfer to airport to board returning flight.
